Jazz-elle

Jazz-elle is a Dance/Pop/Deep House artist, composer, performer.

Like a desert fox, surviving the heat and hardships of the Mojave, Jazz-elle can tell you desert living is no easy feat. She lived under those self-imposed harsh conditions that helped her find herself, becoming a transformed person and musician as a result. Her music sings of this transformation and rebirth.

From the desert, Jazz-elle brings her techno-tronic sound waves, which resulted in inspiration for such tunes as “Run For Your Life.”  The song was born out of Jazz-elle’s commitment to stopping aerial spraying over California. “You got your mojo, keep on your toes go, they’re behind you breaking rules making new laws,” as it goes in part.

Prevalent in her songs the listener will hear heavy bottom bass line notes, pumping drum beats, the prolific melodies with their keyboard instrumentation, exciting guitar riffs and surprising electronic effects.

Jazz-elle’s fortitude was further tested in the desert where she wrote, “Don’t Doubt it.”   She believed she would come out of the intense survival mode to a higher consciousness, resulting in her conclusion that, “You can do anything you set your mind to; it’s not just for the few.”

Locally, for the last eight years, Jazz-elle has participated in the Survivor's Healing Center’s “Art of Healing Show” as both performer and emcee. She is also a producer of films on social justice.

Jazz-elle creates exciting body-moving grooves that will have your body moving too.  Your heart is thumping, blood warming, hips bumping, body grooving, mind expanding: You’re experiencing Jazz-elle.
